Shahraiz Asad Siddiq
I am an architect, graduated from the Dawood University of Engineering & Technology in Karachi (PK), and a student in the two-year international Master's program in Building Engineering at the Politecnico di Torino.
I am completing my academic path with a thesis on façade insulation systems in historic and contemporary buildings, based on the analysis of interior spaces as a tool to optimize insulation strategies and improve indoor comfort.

This website was created at the end of my academic journey as a tool to collect and share the projects developed during my studies, with the aim of making my skills available to architectural studios and companies operating in the field of building design and engineering.

I value design that places people
at the center
Tiny house design based on industrialized timber construction systems, conceived as a compact, transportable, and high-performance housing unit. The project explores the potential of sustainable prefabrication, integrating structure, envelope, and living comfort into a single system.

Energy Performance Design and Indoor Enviromental quality
Historically underestimated in architectural theory, the façade has often been treated as secondary to structure or plan. Yet contemporary research and construction literature emphasize that it plays a central role in both environmental performance and architectural expression.
Effective façade design requires the integration of technical performance and architectural intent from the earliest stages of the design process. Modern façades must simultaneously provide insulation, regulate energy flows, and respond to climatic conditions while contributing to the cultural and urban character of a place. Understanding the façade as a primary building system rather than a decorative layer is therefore essential for creating architecture that is both environmentally responsible and meaningful within its urban context.

My Goals
Moving from Pakistan to Italy was a demanding choice, but every day I spend here strengthens my conviction that I have chosen the right path.
I would like to continue growing professionally in this country and I am available for collaborations and job opportunities, approaching them with commitment and dedication.
I am currently studying Italian (A1 certified, B2 in progress). It is a challenging language, but a beautiful one. At the moment I still find it a bit difficult to hold a conversation, but I am working on it.
I speak English fluently.
